Periodontal Plastic Surgery – Hands on course

Treatment of soft tissue defects in the aesthetic region with periodontal plastic surgery is of great importance in terms of patient satisfaction. Small mistakes or wrong decisions causing inadequate treatment results, tissue surface disorders, color incompatibility and scar tissue formation may lead to difficult-to-correct situations. Discussion and questioning of the factors that play a role in the success of periodontal plastic surgery play a key role in reducing errors and increasing success. During the planned course, participants will benefit from an education where they can develop their surgical skills. Mucogingival treatment and management of soft tissues will constitute the theoretical and practical content of the course. With this course, participants will better understand the factors that affect success or cause failure, gain the necessary surgical skills for soft tissue management, increase their knowledge and skills in obtaining gingival grafts and managing donor sites, and also learn the biological principles related to mucogingival treatment and flap design.
